Chopbox Express was founded by Rahmat Sai Jimah, an entrepreneur passionate about innovating healthy meals and snacks using locally sourced, natural ingredients for busy working moms.
Rahmat’s commitment extends to mentorship programs for rural women and young entrepreneurs, where she shares her knowledge and experience to better her community and support the next generation of business leaders. She has gained mentorship through iSPACE, Tony Elumelu Foundation and Ignite (Guzakuza), as well as other industry training with Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GNCCI), Ghana Enterprises Agency (GEA) and Ghana Export Promotions Authority (GEPA). She serves as a Council Member on the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry for both Greater-Accra and National.
Embracing a commitment to continuous learning and personal development, she delved into a Master's in Marketing and undertook additional courses, including a Post Graduate Diploma and Agribusiness from the London Academy of Professional Training (LAPT). She is a member of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, holds a number of food processing certifications from the Council for Scientific & Industrial Research. Beyond professional aspirations, ‘I find fulfillment in volunteerism, particularly in serving the underprivileged’. Consequently, contributing to and supporting others through acts of giving back remain integral to my values.
She is a working mom, married with three children. Established Chopbox Express in 2019 as a Sole Proprietor. Prior to this, she comes with a comprehensive 14-year tenure at Unilever Ghana Limited, a distinguished FMCG corporate (from National Service through to Management level) Chopbox Express operates in the outskirts of Accra in Gbetsile.
